Senior hunger remains a serious challenge in our area, with over 300 people on the waiting list for food, right here in York and Chester counties.

 

Additionally, the Catawba Area on Aging has identified more than 1,000 additional seniors suffering from food insecurity. These people aren’t on our waiting list, because we add seniors to our waiting list only when we’re fairly certain they will be able to be served within a few months. So over a thousand seniors right here in our back yards have little food, and less hope.

 

By making a $25 donation to the York County Council on Aging, you’ll feed a senior for a week, or a pet for a month. $100 will feed a senior for an entire month.

 

Online donations can be made securely, and every cent of your donation goes directly toward feeding hungry seniors in our community. You don't need a PayPal account, just a credit card. You can make a donation in any amount. You'll receive an email confirmation after completing your transaction.
